The new 2025 GMC Yukon gets a newly restyled fascia in both the front and the back. The newest edition of the Yukon comes with new wheel designs along with a more luxurious interior. The fuel-efficient diesel six-cylinder engine gets a power boost and gets up to 305 horsepower and 495 pound-feet of torque.

Trim levels for 2025 GMC Yukon

The new 2025 GMC Yukon once again offers five trims for Orlando, FL buyers to choose from: SLE, SLT, AT4, Denali and Denali Ultimate. The SLE is surprisingly well-equipped and you can get a great deal of value in the SLT trim with features like 20-inch wheels, heated and cooled front seats, a power liftgate and leather upholstery. The rugged AT4 has a set of compelling off-road features and the luxurious Denali and Denali Ultimate models are especially attractive with premium touches like hand-stitched leather upholstery.

Engine and Performance

The new Yukon gives Florida buyers three stellar engine choices that include two gasoline-powered V8s and a higher-torque diesel. The 5.3-liter V8 can come through with 355 horsepower and 355 pound-feet of torque. The 6.2-liter V8 has even better numbers with 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. The 3.0-liter turbocharged swix-cylinder diesel raises its game up to 305 horsepower and 495 pound-feet of torque.

If you go with the off-road AT4 you'll be riding on 20-inch wheels, all-terrain tires, and get a two-speed transfer case and underbody skid plates. With the AT4 you can upgrade to an air suspension system that can give you two extra inches of ground clearance. It's estimated that with the 6.2-liter V8 in a Denali version of the GMC Yukon, you can reach 60 mph in about 6.0 seconds.

Towing and payload capability

The highest level of towing in the GMC Yukon lineup comes with the 5.3-liter V8 engine and rear-wheel drive that can tow up to 8400 pounds. The 6.2-liter V8 is right behind with 8300 pounds of maximum towing and the extra 105 pound-feet of torque can be a major help when you're pulling heavy loads. The Duramax® diesel can deliver 8200 pounds of towing for Florida families. The maximum payload in the new GMC Yukon is 1,900 pounds.

Interior and exterior

The overall size and internal layout of the 2025 GMC Yukon remains the same as last year. The Yukon and the long-wheelbase Yukon XL both give you seating for a family of eight and seven if you get the popular captain's chairs in the second row. Denali models come with the same premium interior as before. There's a generous amount of cargo space in the Yukon XL and that measures about 145 cubic feet. The exterior continues to feature that well-chiseled GMC design. Exterior paint colors include Summit White, Onyx Black, Titanium Rush Metallic, Sterling Metallic, Downpour Metallic and Volcanic Red Tintcoat.
