GMC Sierra AT4 & AT4X in DeLand, FL

Introducing the New Sierra HD AT4

GMC Sierra HD pickups can pull a generous amount of weight and they have a lot to offer when it comes to looks and comfort as well. The Sierra 2500 HD and 3500 HD both give you more luxury and a higher-quality feel than comparable Chevy Silverado HD options. These heavy-duty trucks have a number of trim options and the AT4 model is the one to pick if you have plans to take this truck off-road.

What's new for 2024?

The new GMC Sierra HD AT4 gets a light visual refresh including a front fascia that comes with newly available LED headlights and taillights that offer sequential turn signals. Rain-sensing windshield wipers now come standard on the AT4 trim and so does a 13.4-inch diagonal center infotainment touch screen. In addition, the AT4 comes with a 12.3-inch digital color driver information display to help make driving a better-informed experience.

The GMC Sierra HD Pro Safety package also comes standard on the Sierra HD AT model giving you automatic forward emergency braking, forward collision warning, automatic high-beam headlights and a lane-departure warning system.

Engine and performance options

GMC Sierra HD trucks come standard with a gasoline-powered 6.6-liter V8 engine that's good for 401 horsepower and 464 pound-feet of torque wherever you work around Daytona Beach. It's connected to a 10-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive comes standard at this level. If you want more muscle, you can move up to the available Duramax® diesel 6.6-liter V8 with 470 horsepower and 975 pound-feet of torque. With that powertrain, you'll get an Allison-certified 10-speed automatic transmission and your choice of a single or dual rear-wheel axle known as a dually.

Off-roading equipment

The trail-focused AT4 versions of the GMC Sierra HD comes with an off-road suspension system along with a locking rear differential that allows you to navigate successfully when you're off the beaten path. It also comes with an Autotrac two-speed transfer case, hill-descent control, skid plates, twin-tube Rancho shocks and red recovery hooks. In addition, all-terrain tires are another rugged part of the Sierra HD AT4 package.

The Autotrac transfer case allows you to do seamless shifting automatically in and out of four-wheel drive as you're working around DeLand or Lake Mary. Hill-descent control is basically like cruise control for low-speed downhill driving to take the anxiety out of a steep trip down the hill. Skid plates, as you probably know, are a metal plates that cover vulnerable parts of the undercarriage like the oil pan, transfer case and front axle.

Towing and payload capacity

The strongest version of the GMC Sierra HD AT4 is the 3500 model that can tow 18,500 pounds. That's available with the Duramax® turbodiesel engine, the Max Trailering Package, the Gooseneck/Fifth-Wheel Prep Package and the gooseneck hitch. The maximum payload is 7,040 pounds when this truck is properly equipped. The GMC Sierra HD AT4 for 2024 comes with the world's first-six function Multipro® tailgate that combines six convenient functions to make the bed easier to load and unload for truck drivers in Sanford and Heathrow FL.
